Dopo anni di assenza dai palchi italiani...ritornano i Supergrass! Sono strafelicissima, finalmente riuscirò a vedermi un loro show *SBAV*!!!

Naturalmente una delle due date è già mia =D Avevo pure pensato di farmele entrambe, ma... come si suol dire "sine pecunia..." ...si dice così no? LOL XD Anyway, già mi sto gasando a mille... e da quando ho preso pure il biglietto sto pure peggio *ARGH!* !
Poi l'eltro ieri sera ho anche sentito la diretta in streaming del loro concerto dal Silent Disco di Brighton e già mi immaginavo a Bologna a pogare e a cantare a squarciagola con loro a pochi metri di distanza XD
Io impazzirò °_°
Mi sento ritornare a quando avevo 16 anni e impazzivo per loro, i Blur, i Verve e tutti i gruppi brit di quegli anni là...diamine ma io c'ho un'età!!! XD
Cmq, io ho una missione: devo beccarli e stringergli la mano *essì* con me ci sarà pure Carlotta che ho "supererbizzato" negli ultimi mesi ed ora è peggio di me XD già mi immagino fuori al locale con lei che organizziamo la retata a Gaz e soci all'uscita del locale per strappargli un saluto XD (e so già che Carli chiederà al Goffo se le presta i suoi pantaloni rossi XD)

Credo di aver scritto poce volte in italiano sul mio Livejournal, forse perchè preferisco sfogarmi scrivendo "old style" sul caro vecchio Moleskine. Ma stavolta è un pò diverso. Questa settimana, più di altre sono rimasta bloccata a casa, davanti al pc...un pò per "lavoro", un pò per puro, sano, CAZZEGGIO (hueheu)! Poi capiterà sicuramente che la settimana prossima sarò così impegnata che non riuscirò neanche a tornare a casa per rendermi conto che ce l'ho, io, una casa... >=|

Insomma, imbottigliata nelle quattro mura domestiche, tra lo stereo a palla che manda in un loop continuo due/tre brani a random per ogni mia ossessione musicale (un pò di Drake, un pò di Hancock, una spruzzatina di Jamiroquai, 350gr di Blur, una flebo di Supergrass e qualche brano Jazz che non manca mai nella mia playlist) e la voglia di non fare un'emerita cippa pur avendo MILLE cose da fare ;)

E ascoltando "Moving" e "Wait For The Sun" dei Supergrass, a parte riscoprirle ad ogni ascolto sempre più fottutamente B E L L E, mi sono anche accorta che raccontano delle cose verissime con quel pizzico di ironia e di gaiezza che io ho sempre apprezzato oltre ogni limite ;)

Essì, perchè la vita è anche prendersi un sacco di batoste e fare i conti con le sue amarezze e se non la prendi con ironia non ti resta che suicidarti no?

I've made another Tutorial requested after my last icon post =)

First step> chose your screencap. I've take mine from an episode of Csi:Miami... an interesting Eric Delko's profile. The backgroud are fortunately more bright & clear and helps later for the mask.

Taken from RandomScribblings

2nd step> Crop image without resizing to work better

3rd step> Duplicate and set to screen 100% opacity (if your image are brighter maybe isn't necessary, but you can adjust the % later)

4th step> Turn the image on black and white. I love to use the gradient map (layer>new adjustment layer>gradient map), select the B&W one and press "ok". Now, if your image are too dark or too bright you can adjust the opacity of the screen layer to better result. MERGE ALL LAYERS.

5th step> Now I need to separate the subject (Delko's profile) from the background. In this case I've a clear difference between background and subject and I can select the white background with the "Magic Wand Tool", I've set the tolerance on 32. Click on white and reverse your selection (select>inverse or Shift+Ctrl+I).

5th step BIS> If you have a background not too uniform you can select your subject with the "Lasso Tool" or the "Magnetic Lasso Tool" as you like ^__^

6th step> Open a texture. I've choose mine not too noisy or scribbled 'cause I'll add later some scratch if the image required some noise =)

7th step> Return to the Delko's image turned into black and white and copy the selected part and paste into your texture and resize in it with the transform controls as you like AND set this layer to Hard Light at 100% opacity.

8th step> Now, ERASE part of the face with a brush at 35% of opacity. I've used a "torn Paper" shaped brush taken by...uh... crap...I don't remember... maybe iconfilth but I'm not sure (if you know how made this brush PLEASE tell me!) I've taken this long time ago!

Icon result:

9th step>Duplicate the black and white subject, resize more smaller, reflect horizontally and set to screen.

10th step> Adjust subjects positions...opacity layer...create! When you're happy of the result merge all layers and add scratch textures or whatever you like erasing the part of the texture that cover the subject with a rounded blur shaped brush at 50%opacity and... it's done!

From "WhoTheFuck...?" by Graham Coxon... I admire him and his way to play guitar ;) I love his red&black striped shirt (see also my header *giggle*) and the words "Rockstars are Not Cool" are the reason why I love him ;) he's quiet and shy... an anti-rockstar... XD

Simply an EMO-ish icon...I've illustrated many times Jack Sparrow (maybe one day I'll post some scans =D) and lately I've made some sets of icons POTC related... I just using it for EMO-posts ;) I like the pose and the dreamy crop ;)
